Sarah Fiset, aka The Lion Girl, is a self-taught contortionist, clown, and an aerialist on lyra, or aerial hoop. She specializes in combining contortion and aerial hoop into her unique and breathtaking “aerial contortion” act, where she is able to bend her body into unnatural positions and display her amazing feats of strength.

I acknowledge my role as a settler on Indigenous land. The Circle of Courage: Heart Ablaze is an hommage to my home in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan, originally a Metis settlement, as well as my past and ongoing work with children. I feel the most at home on my hoop, and when I am not on my hoop, the kids I work with light my soul on fire. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
